Dr. Michael Hames was born and raised in Fort Worth and after some traveling around during his education, settled in Wichita Falls with his wife, Dr. Christal Hames (General Surgery), their son and their daughter.
Dr. Hames completed an Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship with FOARR in Houston in the renowned Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. He completed his residency training at the world famous Campbell Clinic, among the oldest Orthopaedic institutions in the country that publishes one of the longest running and most widely disseminated Orthopaedic texts: Campbell’s Operative Orthopaedics.
His practice includes general orthopaedic surgery including sports, knee and shoulder arthroscopy and joint replacement as well as conditions involving the foot and ankle.
