How often should I do exercises at home?

The best days to do your exercises at home are the days that you do not have a scheduled appointment.

Am I required to do anything outside of my therapy appointments?

Usually it is beneficial to do exercises outside of the clinic. Your therapist will give you a recommended set of exercises that you can do at home on your own. These will be similar to the exercises you do in the clinic.

What do I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Give us a call and we will work with you to ensure you get your next possible visit at a time that works for you.

Will you work with my schedule?

We make every effort to work with your schedule. We understand that our patients have other obligations, and will do everything we can to get you the appointment times you need.

What should I wear to physical therapy?

Loose fitting, athletic type clothing with easy access to the injured area that does not restrict your movement. Athletic shoes are also recommended. If you are coming from work, we have locker rooms available for you to use to change clothes.

 

Should I cancel my appointment if I am hurting?

No. If you are having pain, we advise you to come in so we can take a look at you and see if there is anything we can do to help you.

Will my physical therapy hurt?

There is a chance that you will experience some muscle soreness. Soreness is very normal, and does not necessarily mean that your condition has worsened. With that being said, our objective to make your therapy as comfortable as possible.
